the Proper Way to
Register your LCG X-Plore v1.45
REQUIREMENTS:

Here is the proper way to
register your xplore v1.45
1. Install X-plore 1.43 and make
it full using this post,

2. Go to C:\system\data and cut/
paste the data in the folder to E:
\backup (or any folder).
3. Close and open X-Plore.
4. Go to C:\system\data and
now there are again two more
files, including devlist.data and
the second file name could be
anything (different on different
devices., ignore DcfRepDB if
there is any), now backup these
two files to E:\newbackup (or
any folder of your choice)., if
you are unsure about the files,
just delete them and restart
xplore, if the same files created
again.., these are the files you
need to backup. Now once you
finished your backup, close
xplore.
5. Using any other file browser,
remove those two files from C:
\system\data and install xplore
v1.45 and overwrite the
existing one.
6. Now open xplore and exit it..
7. Install the attached
ContactsTemplates, run it and
delete all the files in it, I got
three files.
8. Now open any file browser
and now there are two more
files again in c:\system\data..
- First file would be devlist.data
and second could be anything
like .hal, .cli or .hap … Just copy
the name of this second file.
Now go back to E:\newbackup
and rename that already existed
backup file to this new file
name. Just copy this backup file
now and overwrite the existing
file in C:\system\data\
9. Open xplore and it’s
registered now.
